Policy and Procedure Against Harassment and Discrimination

We recognize that the work environment is a shared responsibility, and we are all responsible for creating a professional, open, and friendly workplace where differences are accepted, and where every individual feels seen and heard.
We value the health and well-being of our employees and are committed to preventing situations in which employees may risk ill-health or feeling excluded from the work community. All managers are responsible for taking immediate action when they witness or receive information about suspected harassment or discrimination. All employees, including temporary, borrowed, and interns, are responsible for making it clear that such behavior is not acceptable, either by directly addressing the person involved or by immediately informing their immediate supervisor about behavior perceived as offensive. All employees, including temporary, borrowed, and interns, are responsible for treating each other with respect.
If problems or suspicions arise, please follow these steps:
If you personally experience harassment or discrimination, first turn to your immediate supervisor.
If you suspect harassment or discrimination by a colleague, first turn to your immediate supervisor.
If you suspect harassment or discrimination by your supervisor, first turn to your supervisor's supervisor.
Managers must immediately investigate reported incidents and take necessary actions. All cases are handled confidentially. Through your immediate supervisor, you can quickly access support and assistance from our company healthcare.
The following actions/sanctions may be considered for confirmed violations or harassment:
Development of an action plan.
Verbal or written warnings.
Written reprimand.
Personnel relocation.
Termination of employment for personal reasons.
Dismissal from the company.
Definitions:
Harassment: Actions directed toward one or more employees in a disrespectful manner that can lead to ill-health or exclusion from the workplace community.
Discrimination: Conduct that violates someone's integrity.
